Ransburg Atop The Refrigerator

I have shown you some of my Ransburg before, in various photographs of glimpses into my kitchen, but I'm not sure I have shown a shot of the stuff up on top of our refrigerator - so here it is:
Ransburg: I love it, so I fit it in wherever I possibly can!
I use it every day, so it's all over the kitchen, and in the pantry as well.
One of my favorite collections; I never tire of looking at it.

And, although it is not Ransburg, I love your plastic towel holder on the cabinet knobs! Your canisters are so pretty in all those different colors. Love T

Hi Tina - That actually IS a metal Ransburg towel holder/dryer rack! I have it stuck up there because I couldn't find a place to hang it on the wall and use it - that is, if hubby would even let me hang it up! :(
At least I can see it and enjoy looking at it.

I have three pieces of Ransburg that were my mother's. I didn't even know the name of the maker until now! I have two shakers (one for pepper and one I use for flour) and a recipe card box. They are all the reddish orange color and certainly don't fit my color scheme but I use them and keep them in the cupboard because they remind me of my dear late mother.

Oops, I forgot to mention I saw the whole set of canisters on the kitchen counter in a photo of our family home in the mid 50s.

Thank you, everybody; I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing it.
It IS such happy-looking cheerful stuff.
Candice - That is so special that you still have the ones your mom used! I'd love to see that picture if you come across it again!

I love all these - because I love flowers, bright colors and tins in general. I don't recall seeing any of the canisters but I'll be on the look out for them now. The little recipe card box is exactly like one my mom has (or had).

I didn't know the name either. I had a wall mounted matchbox in black that I used for a number of years then sold. I have the same recipe box-- picked up at a garage sale.
